Sofia, who speaks Japanese, was assigned to guide Ms. Inoue in Stockholm. The schedule was packed to the brim with details.
What an adventure! Sofia said when the days were over.
The first day started at Arlanda where Sofia met her guest from Japan. From the airport straight to the hotel and OUT ON THE CITY!
By underground to Odenplan and a visit to Stockholm City Library. The connection to Hard Rock Café is hard to find except that the café is right across the street from the library.
Guide Sofia with her guest Inoue-san on their way through Stockholm, but still at Hard Rock Café.
To compare with Japanese products, they later went to a shop to buy Swedish products, including toothpaste. Perhaps she was saving the test for when she was back in Japan because we were not told the results.
They visited the Nobel Museum and looked at a variety of interesting things and ended the visit with a Nobel ice cream.
In addition to everything they looked at (like signed chairs), they also managed to have a Nobel ice cream.
Inoue-san in front of Stockholm City Hall and the view from the City Hall Tower over the Old Town.
The Stockholm City Hall probably has the Nobel Prize to thank for its fame. A building that Japanese tourists often have high on their wish list. And it's beautiful. And the view from the tower over the Old Town is magnificent.
At the top of the wish list, however, was the ABBA museum! Yoshiko wanted to spend half a day there. It's the band, it's the music, it's the clothes. Ms. Inoue loves ABBA.
This couple, Ms. Inoue and her guide Sofia, managed to do so much that we won't even try to list it all. Moreover, everything went smoothly and with a certain elegance. From eating a Swedish cinnamon bun to tasting wine and eating at Rolf's kitchen.
Ms. Inoue had a great time and also managed to score two very sunny days. And in sunshine Stockholm is a very beautiful city.
Our guest returned to Osaka extremely satisfied after two days in Stockholm. And if she comes again, she definitely wants Sofia as her guide, she wrote to us in an email.
Fantastic fun! Sofia was busy with a guest who really knew what she wanted. And it was fun when the programme was so rich in content, so much fun.
It was also nice to have contact with Ms. Inoue’s by email before she came here. She knew what she wanted to have, she got what she wanted and was very happy when she went home to Osaka.
"Thank you very much for organising my stay in Stockholm, even though I only had a short time to spend there. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun. The tour of the City Hall was also very good. And Sofia! Thanks to her, my stay was very productive. Her Japanese is very fast-paced, and above all, her personality is wonderful! I really appreciate her, I have many memories with many photos. I would like to ask Sofia to guide me again next time I visit Stockholm. We are glad we hired your company to guide us in Stockholm. Thank you again. "
